| August 30th, 2006 Hi Bridget, CD has been received. Oh my... Excellent! Keyan has such a CRISP horn. Kinda like Grover Washington, but with his own sound. And for sure, it won't be long before his fans are able to distinguish style. Definitely, one of the best new smooth jazz artists I have heard this year. Rachelle ABYSSJazz Magazine |

| August 21st, 2006 Hi Bridget, That was a great event!! I had a lot of fun. It was very well-orgranized and although I bought those VIP tickets, I ended up staying downstairs at the bar. I had purchased 4 CDs from you. I will be sending one to my brother in Honolulu and giving one to my brother here. The third is for me and the fourth I gave to my friend (from India). Thanks for inviting and letting me know about this wonderful event!! Michele |

- AbandonedPsyche Morris Plains, New Jersey January 1st, 2007 The Art of Living song has excellent bass, the rhythm is very groovy. the drumming is good, it flows along with the song smoothly. the best thing about this track is the saxophone. its masterfully played without a flaw and it hooks you up big time. it has a very romantic feel to it and the melody manages to chill you out. i like the way piano is introduced, it really enhances the mood of this track. brilliance. |
- accidentaltourist Cork, Ireland January 2nd, 2007 The Art of Living song Easy listening jazz This is a lounge jazz number. I like the clear sax and the vamping keyboards. All instruments well played. Solos just right.well done all |
- frank1993r Lancaster, California January 1st, 2007 The Water Color song has a kenny g type nice use of horns and i like the pop feel overall. better than kenny g if you ask me. good beat and a strong bass. keep it up. |
- feloniuspunk Yorktown, Virginia December 31st, 2006 The Art of Living song has Cool intro sets up blue mood Nice sax work. Good mix too, everything is balanced really well with no overshadowing. Kind of a funk groove going on with smooth jazz overtones. This is the kind of music the weather channel plays in the background while panning the stats, and that should be taken as a compliment. I often tune in to the weather channel just for their cool music. Great tune! |
| - JacobDixon Pratteln, Switzerland December 30th, 2006 The Art of Living song Makes me feel a little homesick This song reminds me a lot about New York, and riding down the Major Deegan Expressway in the back seat as a child. My dad played mostly soft jazz tunes while driving and I got a kick out of watching the buildings go by while listening to the music. The saxophone is obviously the main instrument in this song, and it has a nice presence. It doesn't overpower the rest of the instruments and what was played sounded really nice. Overall, a very cool song. I'm going to call my parents now. |
| Good solos, good listening. - Nathan_B1 January 1st, 2007 The Art of Living song has Bass and Sax Groove Just a pleasure to hear these instruments working together - they mesh together well - sound like they've been playing together for years. The bass line has a real groove, and the sax player swings easily throughout. The drummer is also right in the spirit of this number. Glad to hear the keyboard player stand out at aroudn 2:45. Where were you hiding? |
Studio City, Calif January 6th, 2007 Very tasty intro in "The Art of Living song". The track pulls you into the SAX melody and the sax wails, just wails. Love the harmonies in the lines. A totally pro project. I hope you guys have sent the cd's to smooth jazz stations "five stars" Excellent mix as well change nothing in this song |
Llandudno, Con, United Kingdom January 2nd, 2007 "The Art of Living Song" - Garage Band review love the feel of this. Great playing. Totally pro sound..Well done. I could go on all day about the band.As they are brilliant. The SAX has a lovely Stan GETZ rasp to the mellow moments and yet a push through the reed on the higher notes that is pure and very nice. The sense of rhythm in this guy is fantastic..he pops out those accents like at 2.18 and 2.23 where it really funks up. Great EQ setting for the sax..not fat. Just enough re verb to be tasteful. Reminds me of a player I use to know from LA called JOHN PHILLIPS. Great..Why aren't you guys big..I mean this is as good as anything else out there..Good luck and may i say how refreshing it is to find real music on garage band... |
| - PaulGoade Seattle, Washington January 27th, 2007 Quiet, smooth groove, great sax Nice piano and sax work, decent songs, quiet good mood. The sax sound is similar to Gerald Albright or Kirk Whalum (my personal favorite) or my Seattle local favorite Clarence Cal. Great sax sound |
| Minneapolis, Minnesota January 27th, 2007 The Art of Living Song is a glass of red wine with some dark chocolate after gettin some lovin. Great stuff, Nice Jaco thing going. Sax similar to the horn heads who work with Prince. Great production. Perfect use of verb to create intimate feel. |
| Steilacoom, Washington January 27th, 2007 Sax is the bomb. Clear precise drumming moves the song along and keeps the listener focused. The piano slips in without disrupting the melody, nice job then compliments with a smooth solo performance later. I listened to it twice to pick out the various instruments great mosaic. It drifts off nicely at the end without leaving the listening hanging. Good Job |
